Fees & Insurance

My fees are as follows:

  • First Session Intake (55-60 minutes) = $250

  • Individual Therapy (53-55 minutes) = $230

  • Family Therapy (55 minutes) = $230

I am considered an out-of-network provider for all health insurance plans. I encourage you to call your insurance provider to determine your out-of-network benefits and any relevant deductible, co-pay, or session limit information. If using out-of-network benefits, you are responsible for the full fee at the time of service. I can provide you with a superbill (a receipt for therapy that includes the relevant billing codes) that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement based on your out-of-network benefits.

I offer convenient and secure billing via Stripe within the Simple Practice electronic health record system.

Cancellations

Please let me know as soon as possible if you need to cancel your session. I have 24-hour cancellation policy.

If you miss a session without notification or cancel within less than 24 hours of your appointment, there will be a charge of half the session rate. Please note that insurance does not cover fees associated with late cancellations/missed appointments.

Telehealth
(Virtual Therapy)

If it is not convenient to come to my office in-person, I offer virtual telehealth services (video + audio) for clients throughout Oregon using a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform called Simple Practice. If you are considering telehealth, please note that because of state licensure requirements, participants must physically be in Oregon for telehealth appointments.

Consent to Care

Youth who are 14 years or older can consent to their own treatment. Teens 14+ can have direct access to our secure patient portal, Simple Practice, and caregivers can have separate access for billing and scheduling purposes while protecting confidentiality for the teen.

For younger children, if caregivers are divorced or separated and both caregivers have legal custody, I require both caregivers' consent to treatment before we begin. If this may be difficult or you have concerns, I am happy to discuss. Although all caregivers do not have to participate, it is often helpful when they can. I do not provide court-mandated therapy or services during ongoing custody negotiations.
