Therapy for Young Adults
Age-range: I typically work with people into their late twenties.
Young adulthood is a time of tremendous change, growth, and uncertainty. Whether you're navigating college, work, relationships, identity development, increased independence, or mental health challenges, therapy can provide support, perspective, and practical tools to help you move forward.
As a psychologist, I use evidence-based therapies tailored to your unique strengths, goals, and circumstances. We'll start by developing a shared understanding of the difficulties you're facing and identifying what matters most to you. Together, we'll set meaningful goals, learn specific skills, and take actionable steps toward creating the life you want. Lasting change happens through practice, so we'll focus on applying what you learn in therapy to your day-to-day life, taking manageable steps at a pace that feels sustainable.
My approach is collaborative and practical, helping you build insight while also developing concrete strategies for managing obstacles and creating meaningful change.
Many people notice significant improvement within 12-20 sessions, while others benefit from longer-term support. My goal is to help you develop a toolkit of skills and a deeper understanding of yourself so that you can approach future challenges with greater confidence, flexibility, and resilience long after therapy ends.
